To support growing customer demand and prepare for future projects, Emballator has expanded its production facility in Växjö, Sweden. The investment increases capacity, improves flexibility, and strengthens our ability to deliver high-quality closure solutions as our customers continue to grow.
Creating capacity for future growth

The project involved transforming an older production hall with underutilised capacity into a modern and more efficient manufacturing environment. By opening the ceiling structure, investing in a larger overhead crane, creating new routes for Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) traffic and installing upgraded cooling and compressed air infrastructure, we have significantly increased the hall's capabilities.
The redevelopment has expanded the number of machine positions from five to eight, with six positions dedicated to larger injection moulding machines. This creates both immediate production capacity and room for future expansion as new customer projects emerge.
The upgraded facility already provides available capacity for new business opportunities while creating more efficient internal material flows through AGV supported transport solutions. As demand continues to grow, the expanded hall gives us greater flexibility to support both existing and new customers.
The increased capacity also enables us to support more customers with high-quality closure solutions that meet evolving market requirements. As expectations for functionality, efficiency and product performance continue to increase, the expanded facility gives us greater flexibility to develop and manufacture solutions that help customers prepare for the future.

The expansion has been designed with the future in mind. With increased machine capacity, modernised infrastructure and improved production flows, the facility is well equipped to support a broad range of customer requirements.
The first machine was installed in the new production hall at the beginning of 2026. By the end of the year, four additional large segment injection moulding machines will be in place, further strengthening our manufacturing capabilities and enabling continued growth together with our customers.
